Hello Texas Patriots,
Welcome to my first update as RNC Committeewoman for Texas!
The day after the RNC convention, on Friday July 19th, I officially stepped into this new role. Since then, I’ve met with Toni Anne Dashiell, our outgoing Texas RNC Committeewoman, and am so grateful for her service to Texas on the RNC, her support of me, and her generosity in sharing her wisdom about the RNC. Of course Texas RNC Committeeman Dr. Robin Armstrong continues to be an amazing friend and supporter.
We Republicans have the wind at our backs now. We had a powerful 2024 RNC convention (see more below), Joe Biden’s dementia was exposed to millions and he was forced out of the presidential race by his own party, the unpopular and unaccomplished Kamala Harris is in the race (at least this week), President Trump miraculously survived an assassination attempt and emerged stronger and more determined to win his race, and he announced a stellar Vice Presidential running mate in Senator JD Vance.
We Republicans have the wind at our backs now, because America has had enough of the Biden/Harris regime and the lawless Anti-American Left, and the tumult and destruction they have caused over the last four years. We want America back.
But we can take nothing for granted.
While I do want to share links from the RNC Convention, my main reason for writing is to share some ideas about what we need to do between now and November, and frankly for decades to come.

There was something different and especially endearing in his countenance, an even deeper gratitude for life, and a gentler demeanor coupled with a fierce determination to protect and restore America.

The 2024 GOP Platform is HERE. It is much shorter and more concise than past platforms, and struck me as a wartime footing platform, a streamlined message to America that Donald Trump and the Republicans are serious about restoring America.
Important themes that emerged from RNC 2024 Convention in Milwaukee include the need to reclaim the American identity, to boldly stand up for the America First agenda, and to recognize our need for unceasing prayer for God’s care and protection for our country, and for the restoration of America.
Between today and Election Day 2024, now fewer than 100 days away, what should we do? My answers: Register voters, support candidates, volunteer at the polls, and fight the gaslighting!
- Monday October 7th is the last day to register to vote in Texas!! Between now and then, check with your like-minded family and friends to be sure they are registered to vote. Check with your county party, or Republican Women’s Club, or candidates, to see how you can help with their voter registration efforts.
- Choose a candidate or two and find out how to help.
- Volunteer at the polls. Contact your local county party chair or office and find out where your help is needed as a poll watcher, election clerk etc.
- Expose the gaslighting – speak truth instead. All day, every day. This might be the most important job we all have. Even as I write this, the Democrats and their media allies are trying to spread the lie that Kamala Harris was never the border czar (she was!), and that excitement is over the top and that she has raked in $250 Million or more in just days. This is gaslighting. False. Read HERE.
We have the wind at our backs now. But the Marxist/Democrats are not likely to go away without a fight to the end. We must remain relentless.
The America First agenda is the answer to the radical Left’s ongoing destruction of American freedom and of our rights. America First is a course correction, a continuation or reaffirmation of the very meaning and identity of America, a normalization or ‘re-Constitutionalization’ of the role of the United States government. It must continue long after Donald Trump finishes his second term
